Retired Chicago Public Schools Teacher. Ms. Gold holds a B. A. Degree in Early Childhood, and a M. A. in Educational Administration and Supervision.

Ms. Gold taught 1st Grade for 15 years and then went on to pursue the next 20 years with the board as a Reading Specialist, Testing Coordinator and Administrator. Upon her retirement in 2008, she continued the vision of her parents, by assuming the role as Executive Director of New Pisgah Day Care.
In 2012 under Ms. Gold's leadership New Pisgah Day Care was awarded Head Start Delegate Agency. Currently the center is licensed for 58 students. Our enrollment is 10 Infants, 8 Terrific Two's and 40 Head Start/State Prek Students.
New Pisgah Day Care has achieved a Silver Quality Rating for the State of Illinois Excelerate Program. Currently our center offers classes in Spanish, STEM, and Art instruction. Since 1965 we have been a viable asset to the parents of the Auburn Gresham Community.
